Discreet teeth alignment
These are similar to conventional fixed metal braces except the brackets (small squares) are made from a clear material which blends in with the natural colour of your teeth, making them less visible.

Patients during treatment
At Queensway Orthodontics we use the In-Ovation brand of clear braces. This is because the In-Ovation C brace operates with a discreet clip that doesn’t discolour during the course of treatment, ensuring your appliance remains clear and undetectable. Other traditional clear braces use elastic loops which can discolour and attract more plaque and debris over time.
Made for your comfort
After your ceramic braces have been fitted, they will feel a little strange while you get used to wearing them. However, ceramic braces are smoother than the metal alternatives. Just remember, the feeling won’t last forever and it will certainly be worth it in the long run.
Patients that have completed treatment
Yes. Ceramic braces use the same technology as traditional metal braces of the bracket and archwire system. The only difference is the parts are made from a clear material, which gives them that discreet look.
At Queensway Orthodontics we do everything we can to avoid extraction, but because each patient is different we make this decision on a case-by-case basis. The majority of patients do not need to have teeth removed prior to treatment.
Ceramic braces are available for private child and adult patients.
