Josh and his family recently shared their experience after completing his Invisalign for Kids treatment at Queensway Orthodontics. From feeling self-conscious about his smile to gaining new confidence, here’s what they had to say about their journey and the results

1. How did you first hear about us?
We first heard about Queensway Orthodontics through a friend whose daughter had treatment here and highly recommended the team.

2. What motivated you to go ahead with orthodontic treatment for your child?
Our son, Josh, was starting to feel a bit self-conscious about his smile. With the NHS, we would have had to wait until he was 14 and had lost all his baby teeth before being considered for braces. We liked that Invisalign aligners are very discreet, and once treatment is complete, there are no braces to wear throughout the day.

3. How did you imagine your child's smile would look?
Pretty much how it looks now - a perfect smile!

4. What treatment did you decide on?
Josh had Invisalign First specifically designed for kids.

5. Did your child find treatment comfortable?
At first, Josh took a little time to get used to the aligners. Using the hook tool to remove them could be tricky and a bit uncomfortable at the start, but he soon turned it into a challenge - timing how quickly he could take them out each day. Before long, he became used to wearing them, even while sleeping, and took great care of them.

6. How did your child find using Dental Monitoring?
At first, Josh found Dental Monitoring a bit tricky. His mum helped him with the app for the first few tries, but after that, he managed everything himself.

7. What difference has the treatment made to your child?
Josh is now much more confident when smiling for photos and feels that the treatment has made a real difference. He's even curious about how long he'll need to keep wearing his retainers in the evenings!

8. How has having treatment impacted your child's confidence?
His confidence has had a real boost - he's smiling more than ever.

9. What did you think of the service we provided?
We think the service has been excellent. Everything was well explained, and the results speak for themselves.

10. Would you recommend Queensway Orthodontics?
We certainly would - in fact, we've already recommended Queensway a few times!
